I’ve seen several older network controllers that worked in Vista and Win7 using the Windows XP drivers, after pointing Windows to the INF files and having it search for the best driver.

Tuesday, March 2, For Win7 64bit you have to install manually a compatible driver within in the driver collection of Win7: If the folder contains wlndows driver, make sure it is designed to work with Windows for xbased systems.
