NAfME is the world’s largest musical arts education organization with over 130,000 members that include active music teachers, university faculty and researchers, college students preparing to be teachers, high school honor society members and Music Friends. NAfME is the only organization that addresses all aspects of music education.

Situation: In the fall of 2012, NAfME asked Avenue M to provide a marketing strategy to help increase awareness and registrations to its annual conference.

Project Overview: The Avenue M team reviewed past promotional and marketing efforts including promotional collateral design, messaging, pricing and tactics. We develop new strategies and tactics to market and promote the Annual National In-Service Conference.


Outcome:

  • 2013 event surpassed attendance from previous years
  • 2013 registration goals were exceeded by 30%
  • Generated a new excitement and energy among event attendees
  • Event attracted a new and younger audience
